Adam Lambert 1,000 away from 750,000 albums sold

In the newest album sales numbers courtesy of USA Today, the "American Idol" singer sold another 3,000 copies of "For Your Entertainment" here in the United States -- bringing his total to an impressive 749,000.

By this time next week pending some catastrophic disaster, Adam can be in a rare company with other artists who manage to make it three-quarters of the way to being Certified Platinum. As of right now, it doesn't look like the one million mark is going to come anytime soon, as RCA seems to be intent on holding off on releasing another single in the States until the upcoming album.
