Adam Lambert pushes out 5,000 more albums

In the newest album data courtesy of USA Today, Adam's "For Your Entertainment" sold an additional 5,000 copies in the past week, marking a decline of 5% from the week before. This puts the total number for the album at 681.000, getting it ever closer to the 700,000 threshold.

If you look at this from a big-picture perspective, you'll see that Adam's sales numbers have not fluctuated down too much over the course of the past few months. Although there has been a small (albeit natural) decline simply because the album has been out since September, it has consistently stayed between 5,000-7,500 over the past several weeks.

Adam is one of only three "American Idol" artists on the Billboard 200 this week, joining the recently-married Carrie Underwood and Daughtry (who just released a collection of B-sides).
