- For those hoping that Adam Lambert's "If I Had You" would make even more forward progress on the charts later this week, we now have even more evidence that some good things are on the way.
According to the newest single sales numbers courtesy of USA Today, the "American Idol" singer saw 26,000 copies of his new track sold across the country. This marks a 14% increase from the week before, another good sign that more fans are getting to hear the song and expressing their interest through one thing that matters most to record companies -- commerce.
When you combine this with yet again another rise in airplay, you have to assume that the song will see some sort of improvement on the newest Billboard numbers when they are released Thursday.
In other good news for Adam, "Whataya Want From Me" sold an additional 19,000 singles, which puts it over the impressive number of 1.4 million. http://www.examiner.com/x-11363-TV-Examiner~y2010m7d21-American-Idol-Adam-Lamberts-If-I-Had-You-up-14-in-track-sales | |
