- After twelve weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Adam Lambert's "If I Had You" has returned to its peak position once again.
Coming in at No. 31, Adam makes a small climb on the chart. The "American Idol" runner-up rose 4 spots up from No. 35 last week.
The Glam Rocker beat out Sara Bareilles for her song, "King of Anything." This is pretty remarkable considering that Sara holds the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 with her album, "Kaleidoscope Heart."
Adam is doing even better on the Canadian Hot 100 this week, landing at the respectable No. 11 position. http://www.examiner.com/mtv-in-national/adam-lambert-peaks-on-billboard-hot-100-chart-again

- One week after slipping four spots on the Billboard Hot 100, Adam Lambert is now back at his previously-established peak with "If I Had You." In the newest series of numbers released on Thursday morning, the third single off of "For Your Entertainment" is sitting up at #31. This position was previously reached by Adam a few weeks ago, but he has found his way back thanks largely to some strong airplay.
The biggest achievement for Adam is that he is still putting up these kind of numbers in his twelfth week on the chart. Some artists start to slip down once they have been on the radio for so many months, but it has yet to happen here yet.
On the Canadian end, Adam has fallen back out of the top ten on their version of the Hot 100. "If I Had You" slipped down to #11 thanks largely to songs by Ke$ha and B.o.B. -- the good news? Adam has managed to accomplish his feat here in sixteen weeks. There is only a few songs on the chart higher than Adam with a longer life on the chart, though one of them (Enrique Iglesias' "I Like It") is sitting at #1. http://www.examiner.com/tv-in-national/american-idol-adam-lambert-fights-it-out-on-billboard-hot-100

| Subject: Adam Lambert up 8% in track sales 23.09.10 2:21 | |

- After falling ever so slightly in track sales the past two weeks, Adam Lambert is not back on top with "If I Had You." In the newest numbers released this week via USA Today, the third single off of "For Your Entertainment" rose up an impressive 8% from thw week before, giving it a total number of 38,000 for the week. As for an overall number, the song is now officially past the 400,000 mark with 412,000 singles sold. It also was the top track by far among any former "American Idol" contestants.
What is interesting in all of this, however, is that Adam actually somehow managed to fall a spot on Billboard's Digital Songs chart this week to #35. What happened? With all of the hype this week surrounding the MTV Video Music Awards (which Adam was not a part of), a number of songs by other artists managed to go flying off of the shelves and on iTunes. The leader of the pack for this past week is Bruno Mars, whose lead single "Just the Way You Are" is quickly turning into a major hit. (Adam has also professed to be a fan of his voice in past interviews.)
