The Adam Lambert creative machine is rolling along. The American Idol star, who is currently on tour with the Top-10 until mid-September, popped into the studio to pose for world renowned photographer Robert Sebree, who is recognized for his stunning images of some of the music industries finest, including Tom Petty, Goo Goo Dolls, Jessica Simpson and a famous nude shot of The Dixie Chicks. Robert's choice shot can be found on his website. Sebree has also shot other celebs including sports figures, actors and even President Obama.

Meanwhile, Lambert was at work at Rob Cavallo’s Hidden Hills, CA, recording studio, cutting a track for the soundtrack to 2012 and maybe his forthcoming, and thus far, unnamed album. Also recording at the studio was Meatloaf, who is working on his new album. Lambert fans can wonder what might come out of working at the studio at the same time as Meatloaf. Meatloaf has been known to use several guest stars on his CDs and it's already been confirmed through Meat's Twitter Page that Brian May, the guitarist from Queen, has come by to record a 12-bar solo for a song. Brian and Adam have already hit it off, so the potential of May appearing on Lambert's CD is also strong.

Lambert has also been known to be working with producer RedOne, who recorded Lady GaGa's Poker Face and Just Dance, for at least a weekend back in June. E-Online reported that Lambert had spent the weekend with the music producer in his Los Angeles recording studio. The rocker has teamed up with RedOne to look for new sounds. Rolling Stone has also locked down that Lambert was writing and/or recording in sessions with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder (Kelly Clarkson, BeyoncĂ©), Linda Perry, Greg Wells and Sam Sparro. It seems like Lambert is the singer everyone wants to work with.

Lambert's first song, the single from the soundtrack for 2012, should be released long before the Nov. 13 release date for the film.
