Jennifer Lopez And Will.i.am To Join Keith Urban on American Idol?

Eric at Rumour Fix wrote:: FOX announced Thursday morning that country star Keith Urban would be returning for his second season on the American Idol judge’s table. But they claim no decisions have been made yet as to who will be joining him.

But Brad Bessey, Executive Producer of omg!/Insider claims he’s got word from a top source on the show that Jennifer Lopez and the Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am will be joining Keith when season 13 gets underway.

Brad broke the news on his Twitter account shortly after the Urban announcement was made, saying “brace yourselves my @adamlambert friends. I just heard from a VERY INSIDE source @AmericanIdol judges: @JLo @KeithUrban & @iamwill.”

If true it’s bad news for the legions of fans who wanted to see former AI finalist Adam Lambert on the judge’s panel. But fan favorite and seasons 10 and 11 judge Jennifer Lopez’s return would help get the show a much needed ratings boost from it’s disappointing season 12, which featured a self-obsessed Mariah Carey and an obnoxious Nicki Minaj as the female judges.

Personally I really like the song, not only is it instrumentally amazing but Adam’s vocals never disappoint me; I’ve been a fan of his since he first auditioned on American Idol all those years ago and I’m glad to see him doing so well.

The disco sound of the song is what’s most appealing; it’s different compared to all the other music we have out there nowadays; it’s like a breath of fresh air into music in general. Adam Lambert on his stint as frontman with Queen

Lambert first appeared with Brian May and Roger Taylor during the Season 8 Idol finale, back in 2009, and the Queen duo were impressed enough to invite him to appear again with them at the 2011 MTV Europe Video Music Awards. Still, by the time an invite came to play a series of high-profile gigs as Queen last summer, there wasn’t much time to prepare.

“It was such an honor to do a full, hour-and-a-half long set with them,” Lambert tells Ryan Seacrest in this clip. “I was so nervous, at first. I flew over to London to start rehearsals with them, and we only had 10 days scheduled for these big shows.
