Adam Lambert's official Gold Certificate revealed

In a new post on his Twitter account, keyboardist Eli Rise (who also worked as a writer on "Aftermath") showcased exactly what the certificate looked like on Thursday. He also provided this caption to the photo:

"Look what just got dropped off....woohoo!!"

Adam is close now to being at 750,000 albums sold, which will make him three-quarters of the way to receiving the next major honor here in the United States -- Certified Platinum. He has already received this recognition in some countries around the globe, including Canada and New Zealand.

A decade ago, Adam's album likely would have already received this certification -- however, with a rise in downloads online (especially the ability to pick and choose which songs you want) overall album sales has dropped off dramatically.
