Adam Lambert has been nothing but appreciative of his fans from the very beginning of his rise to fame, and he has chosen to go the tried and true route of an "official" fan club for those who just can't get enough of
Glambert via Twitter, YouTube, the news, American Idol-related blogs, and his official website. Lambert announced the launch date of the Adam Lambert Official Fanclub via Twitter Saturday.
"It's finally here!!!" the Twitter post reads. "My official fan community launches on Monday! Check it out!"
The Adam Lambert Official Fan Club, the basics of which can be accessed even now online, officially starts up Monday, August 23, and will allow unlimited perusal (a "Free Test Drive") of the website until September 1. Afterward, only members will be allowed access. Like most other fan clubs, Adam Lambert's version will host several levels of membership, each with different benefits and degrees of access to their favorite glam star.
There will be three levels of membership: "Glitter," "Glam," and "Glitz." In the "Glitter" membership package, which costs $9.99 per year, benefits include access to pre-sale tickets, exclusive videos, audio files, and photos of the glam rocker. Exclusive contests will also be available on the "Glitter" level, as well access to member's only message boards, blogs, chats, and other items of interest to the average Adam Lambert fan.
A "Glam" membership, which costs $29.99 per year, one gets access to everything "Glitter" members are privy to, plus an official welcome letter from the American Idol alumnus himself and a numbered Official AdamLambertFans membership card. "Glam" members also get an exclusive t-shirt, access to previously unreleased lyrics to Lambert's music, and a 10% discount coupon for buying official Adam Lambert merchandise online.
The "Glitz" membership package is for the true Adam Lambert fan, but it will cost you. For $175, the diehard member of the Glam Nation can get a VIP upgrade that will add a
complimentary year to the "Glitter" and "Glam" packages. The "Glitz" package will get the devout fan a Meet and Greet with Adam Lambert as well as a one's photo taken with him. This package gets the fan an exclusive VIP only t-shrit, autographed poster, and tour laminate. There is also VIP treatment: The fan gets to go to the front of of the line at available venues and access to pre-show merchandise shopping.
In addition to the the packages, members can access news and upcoming events on the Adam Lambert Official Fanclub website, not to mention gain access to videos, ticket information, the Adam Lambert online community, and official merchandise store.
Currently on tour, Adam Lambert has been selling out venues and rocking the country on his Glam Nation Tour, which kicked off in June. He is also currently enjoying the success of his latest single, "If I Had You," which is set to jump into the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
