- Adam Lambert's meteoric rise on the charts since the 2009 American Idol Season 8 season has been nothing but spectacular. During American Idol
Adam Lambert accumulated an extensive following of dedicated fans - a fan base that was quite obvious during the American Idol tour during the summer of 2009. Amid the screams and shouts from the audience, Mr. Lambert's songs during that tour would become some of his fans' all-time favorites.
In November of 2009, Adam Lambert released his first album, "For Your Entertainment". Even before its release - in fact, even before the album had an official name - the presales of Adam Lambert's first album topped the charts. Mr. Lambert's fans expected him to push the creative envelope and produce a stellar album. They were not disappointed. From this album, fans gravitated toward more favorites from their pick of Adam Lambert's songs.
On February 27, 2010, Adam Lambert held his first solo concert at the Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino in Indio, California. This sold-out concert drew 3500 fans from as far away as Denmark, Australia, and Thailand to the Mojave Desert just to hear Adam Lambert's songs. At the concert fans would discover more even favorites among Adam Lambert's songs.
Before the concert, Fantasy Springs hosted a "Glamily" (Adam Lambert's fans are known as Glamberts) Family Reunion during which 600 devoted Adam Lambert fans ate, danced, and sang Adam Lambert songs for two hours prior to the concert itself. The atmosphere during the Glamily Reunion was a peak experience for Mr. Lambert's fans. Simply being among others who were dedicated Adam Lambert fans - others who knew the lyrics of Adam Lambert songs - was, for the fans, the ultimate confirmation that they were far from being alone in their admiration of Adam Lambert.
Out of these experiences, certain Adam Lambert songs have come to the forefront. These are songs that have made the top of the charts, been developed into videos, and noticeably are favorites of Adam Lambert's fans.
The following is a list of top ten favorite Adam Lambert songs, drawn from rankings on the charts, his appearances on American Idol, the American Idol Season 8 tour, Adam Lambert's "For Your Entertainment" album, and the experience of attending Mr. Lambert's first concert at Fantasy Springs in Indio, California:
