- You may have heard a rumor that RockStar Weekly was canceling the Adam Lambert fan magazine, scheduled for December. We are not! However, after Adam's performance at the AMA's we had some concern over who the top fans list was and even had parents request that their kids not be allowed to participate in the magazine. That has required us to do a little extra work on the magazine and will delay the end product a bit.
To make it a special event, we've opted to release the magazine on Valentine's Day in 2010 - anyone that has pre-ordered the magazine will get their copy shipped from Canada before Valentine's Day to hopefully arrive at your door before that special day. We realize this may not have been what you were expecting and we are offering full refunds to fans that have ordered and no longer want the magazine. Please let us know if you would like a refund. We'll have it done for you in 24-48 hours.
Having the extra time to prepare the magazine will allow us to create a better end product and we're sure you'll be pleased with what we have planned. Here's an outline for you:
The magazine will be a16 page deluxe edition, printed on thick paper and will contain no advertising, with the exception of the back cover, which has been donated to a band we really like. The new magazine will feature a full colour centerfold of Adam in Concert (as voted by the top fans) and there will be articles on Adam's makeup, hair and clothes, as described by some of Canada's top fashion experts. We'll also take an in depth look at the Deluxe Version of the CD For Your Entertainment.
All the fans that were selected, minus the ones who have opted out, will be mentioned throughout the entire magazine in various parts of themed articles such as "Worldwide Fans", "Fans That Make Videos", "Fans That Get Glammed" and more.
Additionally all the top fans will now have their names proudly displayed on the front cover. The magazine is coming along and we're sure you're going to love it. We hope you appreciate the awesome changes we've added to the magazine and that we've made it advertisement free for you.
We are accepting pre-orders for the magazine now, so you can have it shipped to you before Valentine's Day. To make is simple and easy, the magazine will cost $12 shipped to you anywhere in the world.
Lastly, the first 500 pre-orders will also get a FREE limited edition Adam Lambert postcard featuring a colour photo of the Glam Master from the American Idol tour. Once the postcards are gone - they're gone, so act now. Orders are accepted at the top right hand side of any RockStar Weekly page.
