Adam Lambert Pushes the Edge with Title Song Music Video of "For Yor Entertainment"

Adam Lambert reportedly shot the music video at the Alexandria in Los Angeles with Ray Kay sitting on the directors chair. The Adam Lambert video was shot on November 15th, 2009. Adam Lambert looked amazing in the pictures dressed in a black silk dress shirt, black tie, and long black trench coat with heavy black boots. Adam's ever perfect, and ever changing, hair was brushed high in the front and showed off those amazing eyes.

Also in the pictures are the Adam Lambert dancers for the video and the costumes are certainly extreme. Easily five inch platform shoes on one of the girls, garters, corsets and of course everyone was in black and a touch of grey. One gentleman Adam Lambert dancer with an amazing body, is spotted wearing what looks like a long loincloth and the only other clothing is just scarves around his neck.

This looks to be amazing and I can't wait to see the finished Adam Lambert music video.

In other Adam Lambert news, Adam was quick to say that any stories going around that he and American Idol winner and friend Kris Allen are rivals is just nonsense. Adam Lambert said , "If anybody watched the show, they'll know that we're like apples and oranges."

It has also been stated that even though Adam Lambert broke up with his boyfriend, Drake LaBry, he is not looking for another love interest anytime soon. Adam Lamber's focus will be his music and managing his career, "I'm so busy with all this stuff and with the record that I'm really just focused on the music right now".

One more bit of Adam Lambert news is that Adam Lambert will be working with Jamie King and Stefanie Roos to help in coordinating his stage performances and appearances from the album "For Your Entertainment". Jamie King has directed such musical stars as Rihanna, Madonna and Britney Spears. It sound like Adam Lambert is in good company.

Fans who saw Lambert when he arrived on the set described him to be wearing a long black trench coat, black pants and shirt, metal/leather gloves and his hair was really high and spiky.

Ray Kay will be the director of the video, he confirmed on his Official Twitter. Kay, directed Lady Gaga's "Poker Face " video.

Lambert talked about his vision for the video in the current issue of Rolling Stone magazine. "I kind of think that for the first single, "For Your Entertainment," we're going to go for more of an old Hollywood look, like 1930s style, but influences of Berlin, kind of dark, black and white, opium den, old glam? I want it to look like Valentino, old movie star, like black and white, pencil moustaches — that kind of vibe."

Lambert will be performing " For Your Entertainment " live at the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 22 at Nokia Theatre. The award show will air on ABC. Lambert's debut album also titled "For Your Entertainment" will be released on Monday, November 23rd.

Actually, yes big deal. Massive deal! So much so that paparazzi came out of the woodwork to snap some photos that should help shed some light on the treatment behind the clip for Lambert's first official album music video, "For Your Entertainment."

Here's what we knew before the photos leaked: the video was directed by Lady Gaga collaborator Ray Kay, and would be shot at the Alexandria Hotel in Los Angeles.

What did we learn from the photos? Adam Lambert is fully embracing the S&M lyrics featured in his single. Greased up dancers are dolled up in leather, dog collars, nipple clamps (zoinks!) and platform boots. He's not kidding when he asks in the song, "Push the limit/ Are you with it?" This video shoot looks like it's pushing boundaries well past the mountains and hurricanes Adam had to sing about on the "Idol" finale.

"American Idol" blogger MJ gathered a bunch of intel from eyewitnesses who claimed to have seen a "destroyed ballroom" set featuring Buddhist statues, champagne and lawn chairs. From the sound of it, it could be a genius mash-up of Nine Inch Nails "Closer" video with the slick excess of late '90s hip hop videos.

I'm downright giddy that Lambert (and his team) are fully embracing his wild side. One of the highlights of this past summer's "Idol" tour was Lambert's in-your-face sexuality and swagger. Judging from these leaked photos (which have the rocker in head-to-toe leather holding a gold cane), they're letting Lambert unleash the fierce in a bold way. In other words, those of you disappointed with the lack of makeup in the "Time for Miracles" clip should have nothing to gripe about now. He's going there. Awesome.

These are not pictures from the new Mad Max movie. They're from the set of Adam Lambert's new music video for his single For Your Entertainment. At least the music video looks like it will live up to the song's name. I can't imagine with a cast like this, that it will turn out to be anything less than spectacular. Too bad the song sucks!

I can also guarantee you will never see anything like this from a Kris Allen video, perhaps that is why you never hear about him anymore. Allen recently said he doesn't mind getting less press than Lambert.

"I don't mind, I think that's how I went through the competition as well - I did my thing, and it worked out."

That is a great attitude to have because it looks like the Adam Lambert show is going to be a hard one to top. Not gay pun intended!

Adam Lambert, like Elvis, is a once-in-a-lifetime performer who is absolutely dripping with charisma and sex appeal. Adam Lambert, like Elvis, sports a thick mane of jet black hair (dyed in both cases) and has the kind of sensuous good looks that make women swoon and men quiver with envy.

And now yet another comparison can be made between Lambert and the King: Adam Lambert, like Elvis, is creating an uproar by performing in a provocative and overtly sexual manner. And Adam Lambert, like Elvis, is drawing condemnation from some people (including not a few fans) for doing so.

You have to remember, that, back in the day, some considered Elvis to be a sexual pervert and a grave danger to young people. But, obviously, the hysteria died down and Elvis went on to become arguably the most beloved and talented performer in history.

Thus, if you have your knickers in a twist about the sexual nature of Adam Lambert's debut single and accompanying video, give yourself time to calm down and stop taking Adam and yourself so bloody seriously.

Of greater importance, in my view, is the quality of Adam's music. And one hopes that his debut album features at least one or two great songs. "For Your Entertainment" is good, but it is very, very far from great.
