American Idol:' Adam Lambert Outselling Rivals & Friends

If you look at the Amazon sales charts for this past week you'll quickly notice something shocking: pre-orders of Lambert's still-untitled album are #9 overall in music; meanwhile, Allen and Iraheta are not even in the top 100. Why is this? You could attribute it to a number of factors, such as increase of media exposure for Lambert and a song in the upcoming film "2012." Lambert is also the only one of the three to not have a full song available online (his is only a clip), so more people may also be downloading singles from Allen and Iraheta and waiting on the full album for later.

In addition, Allen and Iraheta are also being defeated on the charts by fellow "American Idol" alum David Archuleta, whose "Christmas From the Heart" ranks 22nd. Who's the real winner here among reality show alum? Susan Boyle. Her upcoming album "I Dreaded a Dream" (which will go head-to-head against Lambert's CD), is in second place behind Michael Buble.
