Last year, as the Los Angeles electro-pop duo Uh Huh Her adjusted to life after being dropped by its major label, singer Camila Grey did what many musicians do when they're not selling records: She took a day job.
Actually, it was a night job, a gig playing keyboards in glammed-out "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert's touring band. It probably paid better than In-N-Out Burger, and beyond that, it was a "huge learning experience," Grey recalls.
