Next up in our Of The Year Awards, we can reveal that the winner of Male Musician Of The Year is… Adam Lambert.
To celebrate 2011 coming to an end, we want to celebrate the best of the best from the worlds of music, film, TV, style and more. You guys nominated your favourites, then you voted and now we have your winners ready to announce.
In true December spirit, we’ll be announcing one winner per day in the run up to Christmas. Today: Male Musician Of The Year.
It was the lovely Mr Lambert who bagged the most votes thanks to his devoted fanbase and unmatchable talent. And how nice that it’s happened just before his new tunes are out – we’re expecting a repeat next year too.
In second place we had Bruno Mars and third place went to middle JoBro, Joe Jonas for his solo tunes. Judgement Day: Pop Heaven or Hell?

There was a time when I really didn’t care for Adam Lambert.
Before you flood me with hate mail or start looking for spare pitchforks and torches, let me say that I have truly enjoyed and supported everything that he’s done post-American Idol. There was something about the way everything happened on his season of American Idol that just made me… not a fan… despite repeated conversations with my mother about how much she loved him. I would say that I was probably pretty intense about my non-fan-ness for a time, though truly I can not give you a reason in retrospect. Perhaps it just took me some time to understand what he’s about as an artist.
