- First, the song itself: with a quicker intro, without the long Orianthi guitar solo that “Sleepwalker” has, “Aftermath” can grab the listener faster. It shows off Lambert’s spectacular range much more - with his lower register very prominent and his familiar riffing on the high notes. Lambert also co-wrote “Aftermath” and a selfish part of me wants him to get those songwriter residuals.
