Adam Lambert at peak on Billboard Hot 100

Quote :: This week on the Billboard Hot 100, it's a tale of two charts for Adam Lambert and "If I Had You." Let's start with the good news here in the United States -- although the change is minimal, his new song off of "For Your Entertainment" did jump up a spot this week to #30. This is the highest point that Adam has reached with the song in 13 weeks on the chart -- with some of his spins leveling off across the radio, it is to be seen how long he can keep this going.

On the Canadian version of the chart, it looks like the unfortunate decline has already began. Though Adam is still in the top 15, he moved down three spots this week to #14. For 17 weeks on the chart, though, this performance is certainly an achievement.

On both charts this week the big winner seems to Rihanna with her new "Only Girl (in the World)." With the song hitting #1 in Canada and jumping up 72 spots here in the States, it is poised to possibly become the next major #1 hit. (Currently at the top this week in the U.S. is Bruno Mars, who Adam has recently praised on his Twitter account.
