American Idol': Adam Lambert battling Katy Perry on pop chart

The biggest competition for Adam (and everyone) right now is Katy Perry, who is dominating with hit song "California Gurls".

Adam reached his temporary peak last week on the (regular) Pop Songs chart with "If I Had You", but the song has yet to appear on the same chart that has made "Whataya Want From Me" so successful over the past few months.

After rocking the house in Nashville, Adam will take a day off before heading up to Cleveland. Considering the reports right now that LeBron James may be leaving the city for Miami, it looks like the city could use all the glam and happiness it can get.
