- Adam Lambert fans are disappointed and angry with Ticketmaster and ticket scalping companies like the eBay owned StubHub, which have left many with no chance at getting tickets to the American Idol star’s two upcoming Canadian concerts without paying escalated prices of up to $1,750 per ticket. The two shows, at Richmond’s River Rock Casino and Coquitlam’s Red Robinson Theatre in April, are small venues with only about 1,000 seats each and literally sold out in two minutes each.
Ticketmaster has been the target of many unfair practices attacks over the years, but newer companies like StubHub and eBay have taken things further, blatantly allowing tickets to be sold for thousands more than face value. Several fans believe that StubHub has as much as half of the available tickets available on their site.
A Ticketmaster auction allows artists, promoters and venues to auction tickets and ticket packages on Ticketmaster.ca. When you bid on tickets, you will be deciding for yourself how much you would like to pay to attend the event. This procedure makes the ticket price irrelevant. Ticketmaster is the world’s leading live entertainment ticketing and marketing company based on the number of tickets sold and provides its clients with services for ticket sales, ticket resales, and marketing and distribution. For resales, Ticketmaster makes additional fees from both the seller and buyer.

| That's so sad that fans got shut out. This has been a problem with my favorite bands for a few years now. Really pathetic that these ticket take advantage of fans. Hopefully, Adam will have a fan club set up, to help fans get decent tickets at face value. |
