Glamberts followed the singer’s every word in a confessional interview segment broadcast on last week’s iHeart Radio Music Awards.

Doubts that he could make it in the recording industry plagued Adam’s teenage life and his early career, he told iHeart listeners.

“When I first moved here [to Los Angeles],” he confessed, “after high school, I moved into an apartment in North Hollywood that I could afford…I didn’t have much money, or much food in that apartment…
