American Idol: Harry Connick Jr. takes final judging spot, but why no Adam Lambert or Jennifer Hudson?

Hudson finished in seventh place during the third season of the show and she has gone on to achieve more than some of the winners. She has an Academy Award under her belt along with a Golden Globe, a SAG Award and a Grammy. Hudson has released two studio albums, both of which went to number 2 on the Billboard Hot 200 and she has sold more than 1.2 million albums in the U.S – not to mention, she’s popular, which is what Idol want, right?

Adam Lambert on the other hand finished runner-up on the eighth season of the show, losing out to Kris Allen. His first album release ‘For Your Entertainment’ shot up the charts to number 3 and last year his latest release ‘Trespassing’ went on to conquer the Billboard Hot 200 at number 1......continues on Unreality TV
