'Glee' Star Lea Michele Is Determined To Land Adam Lambert Cameo

For weeks, rumors have been circulating that "American Idol" fave Adam Lambert was in talks to appear on an upcoming episode of "Glee," a pop-culture match seemingly made in glammy, gold lamé heaven.

The whole thing appeared to be legit — especially since it was "Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy who was talking about Lambert's cameo in the first place — but somewhere along the way, negotiations must have hit a snag. Lambert shot down the rumors during an appearance last week on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, saying he hadn't "heard anything officially" from the show.

And with those words, the dreams of millions of Glamberts (and Gleeks) were shattered.

But fear not, because on Thursday, when the cast of "Glee" stopped by the MTV Newsroom to discuss their new album Glee: The Music, Volume 1, we had to ask them about the prospects of Lambert joining the ranks of Josh Groban and Kristin Chenoweth as guest stars on the show. And, as it turns out, things aren't quite as dead as you'd imagine.

In particular, actress Lea Michele — who plays the scene-stealing Rachel Berry on "Glee" — seemed determine to work with Lambert, no mater what it took to make it happen.

"I love Adam Lambert! I want to sing with him so badly," she said. "If they don't let me [sing with him] on the show, I would just in life. I just want to sing with him so badly. He's just such an incredible vocal performer, and I'm such a huge fan.

"I feel like I'd be getting to work out at the gym with the best trainer in the world," she continued. "You want to work out with someone who's ripped and is going to train you well. That's what I think about when I think of Adam Lambert. I just think he's awesome."

See, she used a personal-trainer metaphor — things must be serious indeed.

Evidently more people than myself felt like Adam deserved to be at the Grammys. I heard a couple of mentions of his name when people were asked who they most wanted to see at the Grammy's. Clearly the stars recognize talent when they see it even if TV execs don't.

I don't understand why Adam didn't sing/participate at
1. The Grammys
2. The remake of We Are The World
3. Simon Cowell's Idol fundraiser

Wonder if he is still being blackballed. I read somewhere that some people think 19 is promoting Kris at Adam's expense. Comments?

I think 19 and Simon Fuller have the bigger picture in mind for Adam.My opinion only is.......Fuller recognises Adam has worldwide pulling power and longevity and are taking their time with him. The reason I don't think they are pushing this album is because it wasn't what the public expected of Adam.Mark my words...by the time Adam is ready to do his second album everyone will know where Adams niche in the market is and they'll be saying Kris who?

Fuller is a genius and Adam is very lucky to have him.....Fuller knows when he sees a good thing....look what he did for the Spice Girls and the Beckhams. I'm not worried about Adam just yet.....however if we are having this''conversation'' again this time next year well then I think I will be then.

As for the non appearances etc.......I think Fuller is behind it and perhaps thinks it's not in Adams best interests. Trust me....from experience over here with Simon Fuller...Adam should count himself lucky.
