In a recent interview with RockStar Weekly, former Pussycat Doll Carmit Bachar says Adam Lambert deserved to be on American Idol and that it only took the Idol star six weeks before he became an international celebrity.

"You are American Idol," Bachar told the rocker when he told her he was thinking of being on the American singing competition. "You can't get that type of publicity. He told me he was going to go out there and show the world what he can do. He got exactly what he set out to do. He became an overnight pop/international success in literally a matter of six weeks. He kicked down the door of glam rock."

Bachar became friends with the Idol sensation when he performed with her on The Zodiac Show, an LA-based musical/theatrical extravaganza. Bachar, along with photographer Lee Cherry, have documented the show and behind the scenes, in a film called The Zodiac Show: Metamorphosis.

Bachar is no stranger to success. Along with several appearances as a dancer in several movies, she was also the only original member of The Pussycat Dolls up until 2007/2008 when she left the group.
