We get stools now guys, so we're going to sit down. This'll be painless, I promise.
A: For you
That's right. We have questions that have been submitted by the audience. And I have them here in my pocket.
A: Is that music gonna be playing? I like it it adds suspense. K: Yeah, is it?
It's like the one time of year I get music behind me so I told them never to stop and to keep playing it
A: We're never going to get away from that theme music, it chases us all over the country.
Or they can cut it off.
K: I like it, keep it on.
First question is for Adam. Adam, growing up dreaming of being a performer with everything you've done in your life and thought you could accomplish, would you say performing for the Adcraft Club of Detroit is the pinnacle of your entertainment career or the highest fulfillment of a lifelong dream?
A: Yes. I've been following Adcraft for the hundred and fifty years, or however long. Thank you, lifelong dream.
Second one is for Kris, Kris is it true that the only reason you entered AI is because you heard you could win a Ford Fusion hybrid?
K: Why wouldn't I join after that? [says something else]
Adam, how do you feel about Ellen being a judge?
A: I think she's going to be great. I think she's hilarious, she'll bring the viewer perspective to the show. She'll be able to make Simon squirm, she'll be able to get him. She's quick, I can't wait to see their catfights. They'll be pretty good.
Kris, what is the most difficult lesson you learned about yourself as a result of your sudden fame?
K: The most difficult, and I've known this for a while, that I like to procrastinate and you can't really do that in this business. So yeah, that's been hard to learn.
Are you used to having the million people walking backstage?
K: I think we're used to it, we just did a fifty-two city tour, so we did it almost every night.
I don't know how they do it.
K: But it's over A: For now K: For now
I hope you guys get a vacation
K: Nope
Adam, this is from Emily, she put a cloud around your name
K: And hearts too
We're gonna give him this to keep.
K: Can I have it? A: Yeah Kris wants it K: I want it.
[something] K: I understand that but,
We'll see, actually you can answer this too and then you can tear the sheet in half. How long does it take you to do your hair and do you do it yourself?
A: Well um.... yeah, no, I do do it myself. I don't know, it takes a couple minutes. I don't know. K: It depends on the do right? A: It depends on the do. K: If he's got the thing going. A: The pompadour is a lot more involved K: That takes a while A: There's some blow dryers and back combing K: He needs help with that A: Kris, actually has become, we were roommates so he can help me... K: I've done, yeah A: I introduced him to a whole new world of products K: Something I had never seen before. I was like in the bathroom while he wasn't there trying to, like "what does this do? Oh, it turns your hair blue."
Kris, what's the biggest change you've had to make since becoming the AI?
K: We don't get to see our families as much, you know family and friends. So me being away from my wife and my family and such [audio cuts]. I'm happy to be doing what I'm doing though.
We appreciate you guys being here.
K: No problem.
If you guys could do one more song together, I don't have to go back to the finance meeting. Could you do it?
A: Yeah, we could do something. Yeah K: And what are you playing? A: I'm so jealous K: That was a joke A: I wish I could play the guitar. I'll dance, I don't know. K: I think everybody would be down with that. A: I was just joking, I don't think you can dance really to acoustic guitar. K: That's a lie. A: I mean you could but.. K: We're just making this up on the spot, by the way.
