Queen set to reign at Glasto

Our Crazy Little Thing Called a source said: “Even without Freddie Mercury, Queen remain a massive draw.

“Glastonbury is just one of the possible destinations. The band would love to have a go.”

Former American Idol star turned Queen frontman Adam, 32, has been singing with the band on and off since 2009.

But he still buzzes every time he sees guitarist Brian May, 67, next to him on stage.

He said: “I pinch myself every step of the way.

“It is an honour to be up there singing the songs that Freddie helped to make famous.”

Adam has a new solo album due next March and he’s promising something extra special.

He called it: “The element of surprise in a post-Beyoncé world.”

Queen’s headline tour kicks off at Newcastle Arena on January 13. Tickets go on sale Friday.

Queen and Lambert meanwhile announced on Monday a series of European tour dates.

They will play a number of arena shows in the UK next year.
