‘Glee’ season 5, episode 9 review

- It was a long, long time when you last saw “Glee” on the air, but Tuesday night it returned with a new timeslot, a larger focus on life in New York, and some other good stuff. Most of the McKinley stories were thankfully geared around the future, and everyone from Kurt to Santana had some good stuff to do.
The obvious story that everyone was talking about before this one started was Santana making the big move to actually audition for “Funny Girl,” and even gets the role of understudy. This sparked all sort of anger, rage, and slapping. The reality here is that Santana was mostly just cast as a publicity ploy, since the makers of the show knew that having these two together was going to be so much more valuable from a story and press perspective … even if they hate each other in secret for the time being...........read more
