As Requested By Your Heart, Probably, Here's Adam Lambert Covering Jessie Ware's 'Wildest Moments' - Byron Flitsch wrote:
- A Glambert’s heart wants what a Glambert’s heart wants. And, aside from wanting more of Adam Lambert’s smizing selfies to frame and hang in every room of our house, our hearts have been politely begging on bended knee to see Adam cover Jessie Ware’s “Wildest Moments.”
Well, our hearts are fist-pumping (get it?) with excitement BECAUSE THEY GOT WHAT THEY WANTED. The “Trespassing” singer shared four sneak peek videos on Instagram where he’s rehearsing Jessie’s tune!
Each one is like a little visual love letter to Ware’s masterpiece filmed in black and white. Plus, the clips also spin the beautiful tale of how Adam’s perfect high notes never fail to send chills down into the depths of our souls. Oh, and how Adam’s emotional gaze has us melting into a messy puddle of glam. That too.
Also, fun tip: If you play each video backwards, you can hear Adam saying: “Will you be my Valentine?” JK! But seriously, Cupid, can ya make him fall in love with us? Thx.
We know already that works’ More Queen shows with Adam Lambert still possible - Quote :
- As Adam Lambert continues work on his newest studio effort, Roger Taylor promotes his own solo album and Brian May performs select dates with Kerry Ellis, the chances of a Queen + Adam Lambert tour have begun to seem increasingly remote.
Not so fast. May, in a new talk with Liz Barnes of Planet Rock, says “we may do some Queen gigs later on this year.”
Previously, the guitarist had let slip that they were in talks about getting back together with the Idol finalist, building on the momentum gained from their first-time-in-the-U.S. appearance last September as part of the iHeart Radio music fest. Some were beginning to question, however, if it was still in the cards.
“Adam Lambert is a great frontman and we know already that works,” May adds, “so we would be looking towards doing some gigs with Adam, hopefully. I’m excited about that, if it happens — IF it happens.”
There’s obviously still much to be worked out, but for stateside fans who’ve missed out on a series of shows that have previously focused on Europe, there remains a flicker of hope
