Mid-State Fair offers top grandstand entertainment

Quote :: Brit Floyd, billed as “the World’s Greatest Pink Floyd Show,” Adam Lambert and Sail Rock 2013 are among the top acts booked to perform on the Chumash Grandstand Stage during the California Mid-State Fair.

The fair opened Wednesday, July 17, and will continue through Sunday, July 28, at the Paso Robles Event Center, where a variety of free concerts will be presented almost every night on the Fort Frontier Stage. (See related story.)

Lambert, the runner-up on the eighth season of “American Idol” in 2009, will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. today, July 19. Tickets are $25 and $40.

His first album, “For Your Entertainment,” sold nearly 2 million copies and 4.2 million singles worldwide.

Last year, he released “Trespassing,” which debuted in the No. 1 position of the U.S. Billboard Album chart........Source
