Celebrities are speaking out about the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), calling it unconstitutional to restrict federal marriage benefits to same sex couples.
“DOMA singles out a class of persons deemed by a State entitled to recognition and protection to enhance their own liberty,” the Supreme Court ruling read.
