| Welcome To Adam Lambert UK Glamberts Website established June 2009Adam Lambert Biography Latest Adam Lambert News & Information Adam Lambert's Casual Cool LAX Liftoff - Quote :
- Ready to jet set to his next destination, Adam Lambert made his way through LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA on Monday (September 24).
The “Trespassing” singer looked casually cool for departure in jeans, combat boots, and a baseball cap, stopping to give the shutterbugs a quick photo op.
In related news, Adam recently inspired a New Zealand fan named AJ to go forward with her documentary idea titled, “The Glambert Project.”
Beginning back in August 2012, the project gives outsiders and fans alike opportunity to see the life of a die-hard Lambert lover, or "glambert."
Fans from all over the world submitted videos to be used in the doc (which includes interviews from Adam, as well), and AJ explained that the reason behind the idea was to show the impact the pop singer has.
“It continues to fascinate me how every Lambert concert I go to, everybody gets along and creates these instant friendships, regardless of age,” AJ said. “I wanted to show to other fans that 'you are not alone,' as well as show the world that pop culture is positive and needed in society." Adam Lambert: Opposition To Gay Marriage Rooted In Fear - Quote :
- The 30-year-old Lambert is set to headline a fundraiser concert to benefit Marylanders for Marriage Equality, the group working to uphold a gay marriage law approved by Maryland lawmakers.
“I think there's a lot of fear among people who oppose gay and lesbian marriage,” Lambert told the Washingtonian. “I personally believe you're born one way or the other. Some people think it's a choice. I think the only choice involved is whether you're going to be honest about who you are or not, and I'm really big on honesty. If this is something we can get passed, what we're doing for the next generation is lifting a ton of shame and guilt and secrecy off of the LGBT community. The clichés attached to the gay community were born out of shame and secrecy, and if we can get rid of those things, we'll end up with a lot more happy, normalized gay and lesbian kids.”
The concert will be held on Tuesday, September 25 at the 9:30 Club, the legendary live music club located in the U Street neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Tickets, which start at $125 and go up to $250, can be purchased through Ticketfly.com or at the 9:30 Club. Adam in GQ JapanYou can buy the issue Here | |
