Adam Lambert Rocks The Take 40 Live Lounge
Quote :
Tonight the incomparable Adam Lambert tore up the Take 40 Live Lounge presented by Debit MasterCard -- and for the 300 strong crowd it was a show like no other!
Dedicated fans lined the pavement outside the Standard waiting for a glimpse of their glamorous idol -- some having rocked up at 8.30am for the chance to take the front row spot!
Many were decked out in yellow and black to mark his latest album Trespassing - a thoughtful touch that the man himself acknowledged!
To screams and reaching hands Adam opened the intimate set with the title track from his new album -- his spectacular voice really shining through with a stripped back accompaniment!
Adam delighted the audience with many of his new tracks -- including the seriously sassy Shady and the incredibly sexy Naked Love.
Not to disappoint, he also performed his smash hit What Do You Want From Me -- which in an acoustic setting really showed how much of a powerhouse Adam's voice is!
A specialty of the Take 40 Live Lounge -- some lucky fans also had the chance to ask their idol some of their burning questions.

What we found out was that if Adam wasn't a musician he would be a social worker or a psychologist, if he could have dinner with anyone dead or alive it would be Freddie Mercury, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin and his most surreal moment was taking to the stage with Queen.
When asked what it is like to be so loved he responded "sweaty" and when asked to name his top three moments he listed performing with Queen, American Idol and "being right here!".
It was one of our top moments too Adam!
Another highlight on the night was Adam's rendition of Bob Marley's Is This Love? For the audience it certainly was!
