Has Adam Lambert Delayed His 'Trespassing' Tour So He Can Judge American Idol?
Quote :
There have been rumours swirling on the interwebs in recent months suggesting that Adam Lambert is in talks to join the new judging panel of American Idol. This would be kind of exciting I guess as Adam would be returning to the show that had introduced him to the World and he seems likeable and opinionated and he's a showman, so on paper he'd be a good fit. Don't get me wrong, Adam Lambert would do just fine on American Idol. But is this really a career move he should be making? Will this help or will it hinder record sales? And is there any point even trying to win the viewing public's approval when he'd have an uber-crazy monster of a Diva in recently announced judge Mariah Carey stealing the show from him on a weekly basis?! Adam recently confirmed on Twitter that there will be a Tour to support his fantastic sophomore record, but it won't happen until it feels right. This sounds sensible. But please say no to American Idol if there is any truth to the matter and concentrate on some more single releases and really good music videos. American Idol may have introduced you to the World Adam, but you've paid your dues. Begin work on your third album, tour with Queen and resist the charm of a hefty weekly paycheck. Judging panels on reality shows these days are for those who are past their best and looking for a quick career boost. I would like to think you've got at least ten good years in you before you need one of them.

Who wants to start their Saturday morning off with a little bit of dancing? This is where Adam Lambert — and our Saturday edition of “American Idol” notes — enters the picture.
A new remix – We’re not going to be hearing much from the season 8 star in the past week, primarily due to him going “off the grid” for a much-needed vacation following some concerts and international travel to promote his sophomore release “Trespassing.”
However, before he took off from his Twitter account Adam shared the R3hab Remix of “Never Close Our Eyes” — a mix that can be best described as “intense.” The best part of it occurs around the 1:50 mark, when the song breaks down into a funky and fun beat that is worthy of a little fist-pumping (or whatever your favorite go-to club dance move is).
We know that club music is not everyone’s cup of tea — but we’re glad that Adam’s music is finding his way in there.
