“Update On Adam Lambert’s Appearance At Olympic’s Closing Ceremony”
Quote :
Earlier this week, we exclusively reported that there was a chance for Adam Lambert to perform at the closing ceremony of the London Olympic Games. Despite having Queen reach out to him, there had to be some permission from game organizers about it. After all, there is a big rule to have British artists only and Jessie J is already scheduled to perform a song with Queen.
We have learned that Adam Lambert will not be able to perform at the Olympic Games due to the rule that organizers are really and seriously going to enforce. We also know that Queen did in fact try to get Lambert to perform with them, but were unsuccessful.
Lambert will be working on choosing a new single and doing the music video for it. After that, he will go on to perform some festival shows in Japan.
As for Queen, they will have to stick to the incredible Jessie J. We can’t wait for that performance!

Adam Lambert promises 'Trespassing' tour and tells fans "I won't let you down"
Theatrical singer Adam Lambert has called for fans to have faith in him because while he's not ready to tour his latest album yet, he is planning to in the future.
'Trespassing' had its American release back in May and apart from a few one-off concerts, he is yet to tour the record properly.
To reassure his dedicated followers, Lambert took to social networking site Twitter just before midnight last night (August 2) and told them to trust him because a new stage show is on the horizon:
"Have no fear, a Trespassing Tour WILL come. When the time is right. Trust me Glamberts! I won't let you down. "
The 'Better Than I Know Myself' sensation spoke to Pressparty about potential tour plans back in June and revealed that he aims to take his sophomore record on the road because he wants to "diversify the audience" and perform the songs live as much as possible:
"I hope so. Probably next year. Yeah, probably put together a tour next year when I’m done promoting. I want to promote the album and really expand the audience, you know? I really want to diversify the audience and I want more and more people to hear the songs because I really believe in them."
