Adam Lambert practices his Queen songs and reveals Graham Norton booking!
Quote :
Adam Lambert is teaming up with Queen this summer in the UK for a few special gigs. I am also hoping that they will appear at the Olympics at some point!
To prepare him for the gigs MusiquePlus in Canada had Adam sing along to some Queen classics including We Will Rock You, Another One Bites the Dust and We Are the Champions.
Adam was laughing through most of the performances and also admitted he needs to practice a bit more..we know he can rock it though..remember We Are The Champions on Idol?!
In other Lambert news the singer is set to appear on the UK chat show hosted by Graham Norton on the 21st of June – this should be a lot of fun, I think Graham and Adam will get on, they have a similar sense of humour!
Adam Lambert's Bonus Track 'By The Rules' Surfaces

Adam Lambert's album, Trespassing was released on May 15th in the United States and several other countries. The deluxe edition of this album had three tracks, but the Japanese version, set for release next week, has an additional track. Fans that ordered that edition have received it already and posted it online. "By The Rules" was written by Lambert, Virginia Blackmore, Aeon Manahan, and Matthew Marston in London.
This song was written a week before the album's title track, and it's interesting to see the shift in direction. From a mellow island r&b sound to an energetic pop take on Queen. With lyrics such as "The lamb and the lion/We lay down in peace/Like air to the fire/I need you to breathe," it is a statement to a lover about how much they mean to Lambert. It is much a like the album's first single, "Better Than I Know Myself" in this regard. "By the Rules" is also on the UK version of the Adam Lambert's album, set for release on July 2.
The O Music Awards have officially kicked off and the race is ON for the title of Fan Army FTW. The other week, a very famous crooner — and Fan Army leader — dropped in over here at OMA HQ, so we decided to hit him up for a personalized message to his fans. So, without further ado, we give you… Adam Lambert.
We asked Lambert: “If you had one thing to tell your fans, what would it be?” Apparently, he took the “one thing” part of the question rather literally. Check out his brief — yet rousing — response below.
