ADAM Lambert has made his second album sound like the music he grew up loving, thanks to the Nineties coming back into vogue.The American Idol hunk’s release Trespassing is out on July 2.And the first single from the collection, Never Close Our Eyes, out on June 24, has been written by BRIT winner Bruno Mars.Adam, 30, told me: “It can’t hurt me that the Nineties are becoming trendy again.“I went there because that’s what inherently locked into my musical subconscious, as it’s what I grew up with.“This album borrows so much from my first pop influences. Queen with Adam Lambert – Despite Cancelled Sonisphere, UK Concerts To Go Ahead
Just two weeks after the shock cancellation of Sonisphere 2012 where they were due to headline with singer Adam Lambert, rock band Queen has announced they are to go ahead with a UK concert appearance this summer after all.
The band today announced that the highly anticipated pairing of Queen and Lambert will instead take place at London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo over two nights, July 11 and 12.
In the announcement the band also promised to endeavour to give priority booking to those who had held tickets for their Knebworth concert. Tickets will go on sale next week, first to Queen fans and Sonisphere ticket holders and then on general sale.......continue reading
