It was a rock-star reception on Monday evening when American Idol alum Adam Lambert hit the stage at brand new hot spot, The Hamilton, for a short private concert for the listeners of 94.7 Fresh FM.
Lambert fans came in throngs showing their support for the rocker who was in town to promote his newest album.
Adam got the crowd going starting off his set with his latest single, "Better Than I Know Myself" and then chatting with morning show host Tommy McFly about the sights and sounds of being in DC.
The crowd was fixated on Lambert right up until the last song, his smash hit "What Do You Want From Me."
Lambert posed around the cavernous venue for pictures and chatted with his loyal flock of 'Glamberts', as they refer to themselves online, and then headed to the airport to resume his tour.
A relaxed Adam Lambert took a few oddball questions Wednesday from fans. Including: what color is your toothbrush? Lambert, who was the runner-up in the American Idol competition of 2009, and who many felt should have won, is promoting a new album. His appearance in Milford was arranged by the Worcester radio station WXLO, as part of its Music Loft on the Road series, said Bob Goodell, director of sales."It's a lot more exciting to bring out an artist like this to a small town, where it really creates a buzz." ............ continue reading
