Adam Lambert Enters Sound Off Hall of Fame With ‘Better Than I Know Myself’
Quote :
Congratulations to Adam Lambert and all of his devoted fans! Thanks to the determined voting efforts of Glamberts everywhere, the former ‘American Idol‘ contestant and his new single ‘Better Than I Know Myself’ have been inducted into PopCrush’s Sound Off Hall of Fame. The raven-haired pop-rocker beat out a wide variety of competitors for five days in a row, securing him a spot at the top in the Sound Off Hall of Fame.
When Lambert surfaced as a competitor in PopCrush’s Sound Off series, his ballad ‘Better Than I Know Myself’ was pitted against Demi Lovato and her new single ‘Give Your Heart a Break.’ Despite Demi’s domination over the Sound Off prior to her face off with Lambert, the ‘If I Had You’ singer managed to triumph over the Disney darling. During his run, Lambert also left Train (‘Drive By’), Jason Mraz (‘I Won’t Give Up’), Lana Del Rey (‘Born to Die’), and most recently, Taylor Swift (‘Safe & Sound’), behind in the dust.
Considering ‘Better Than I Know Myself’ is Lambert’s first release off of his upcoming album ‘Trespassing,’ the fact that his fans are supporting the new song so ardently can only mean good things. The full-length LP is slated for released on March 20, and we’re sure the rest of the tracks on the album will blow away listeners.
Congratulations again to Adam Lambert! Lambert joins the Hall of Fame with the likes of fellow ‘Idol’ alum Kelly Clarkson (for her holiday ditty ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’), rapper Lupe Fiasco (‘I Don’t Wanna Care Right Now’), dance-pop diva Dev (‘In the Dark’), ‘Soul Punk’ singer Patrick Stump (‘This City’), and Swedish sensation Eric Saade (‘Hotter Than Fire’)
