Adam Lambert says that when his sophomore album Trespassing is released next year, fans should expect a change from the glam-rock stylings of his debut.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Adam says of the new album, "The style...is a little bit evolved," adding, "I think the last album I was trying to update the style of the late ‘70s, early ‘80s with the glam rock and with rock music on a whole visually and aesthetically. I think this album is more in the direction of contemporary again." Adam describes his new sound as "fresh" and "something people maybe haven’t heard before," but notes that "lyrically, it’s very honest and real.”
