Adam Lamberts Million Dollar Story Be A Part Of It

During Adam Lambert's brief time in the national spotlight he has raised nearly a million dollars for charity. The "Peace Pendent" from Pennyroyal Studio, benefiting the Trevor Project, is bringing Adam Lambert closer to becoming a million dollar benefactor. As part of the panel on Scott Katz's US Town Hall Roundtable this week I was able to get an update from our special guest, the founder and designer of Pennyroyal, Tim Foster. This is not the first time Foster has paired up with Adam Lambert to create beautiful jewelry to benefit a great cause.
In 2009 Lambert teamed with Foster to create the "Eye of Horace Pendant" which was fashioned from a sketch Lambert drew of his first tattoo. That pendent raised $32,000 for MusiCares.
In 2010 Lambert and Foster joined in creating the "Infinity Pendent" which represented Lambert's second tattoo. The "Infinity Pendent" raised over $43,000 for DonorsChoose.

On September 23, The Hub is set to premiere a new series entitled “Majors and Minors” — one that features a score of young musicians trying to figure out the tools needed in order to be hit recording artists. There are no eliminations on the show, and the whole goal here is to uplift rather than to tear down some of the other competitors. (At the end of the show, there is still only one person who receives a recording contract.)
So much work to do this upcoming week. Finishing vocals on three different singles! woohoo.
Woohoo indeed.....the word singles instead of tracks is VERY exciting!
