The sexy singer not only has the ability to shift a few records, he is also a leading figure on the social networks.
Adam has a cool one million+ followers on Twitter, and if that didn’t impress you enough, he has over two million likes on Facebook.
We’re not the only ones who are impressed with all that Adam does.
The Los Angeles Equality Awards are honouring Mr Lambert, “whose work has been a catalyst for social change and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality.”
Equality California honored singer and songwriter Adam Lambert and Facebook at this year’s annual Los Angeles Equality Awards. Presented by AT&T, the awards took place Saturday, August,13, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
Lambert gained international fame as the runner-up on "American Idol" in 2009. Since launching his solo career as a singer and songwriter, he has been an outspoken and fearless role model for LGBT youth nationwide.
Lambert also participated in the “It Gets Better” campaign with the hope of helping LGBT youth overcome bullying. His song “Aftermath” will benefit the Trevor Project, a national suicide-prevention hotline for LGBT youth. Lambert received the Equality Idol Awards.
Charles Robbins from The Trevor Project & Joel Flatow from the RIAA present Adam with a plaque on March 10th 2011.It was to commemorate his singular devotion to inspiring and helping save young lives.
