The First Festival “Sainte-Agathe en Feux” takes place Wed., July 27 to Sun., July 31. Five musical firework shows, entertainment, a family street, foods prepared on fire from Morocco, Japan, Greece, Canada and Louisianan (US). Among the invited entertainers is Kenny Rogers, who will perform at the Tessier Beach on Sat., July 30th. On Friday evening at 9:00 p.m. local time, Adam Lambert is set to perform a full-length concert set in North America for the first time really since the Glam Nation Tour came to a close. The venue? The St. Agathe en Feux Festival in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec — which is located about an hour north of Montreal. While the town may have less than 10,000 people, expect a rather enormous crowd for the event — people will driving (and flying) in for the festivities. Music stars Avril Lavigne, Adam Lambert, Colbie Caillat, and Claude Kelly have joined a growing lineup of top musical artists who will appear as mentors (“Majors”) to aspiring young talent on the upcoming original reality series “Majors & Minors,” premiering September 23 on The Hub TV Network, a destination for kids and their families. They join previously announced artists including Brandy, Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Sean Kingston, Mike Posner and One Republic’s Ryan Tedder. Other major artists will be announced later and all will serve as “mentors,” guiding the talented cast as they embark on their individual journeys toward stardom.
