It has been quite a while since we have done a post detailing some of Adam Lambert’s weekly radio airplay numbers — so now seems about as good of a time as any to update while we are waiting for some news on his upcoming sophomore album.
Per the latest numbers, here are where Adam’s two most-popular singles stand on U.S. airplay charts:
Adam Lambert's upcoming release is one of the most anticipated albums of 2011, according to a new report. The popular singer has been busy creating music for his second album, and everyone is taking notice. He is currently working in Hollywood following a trip to London, England. His fans ask about the new album on a daily basis using the social media site Twitter. For now, they will have to remain patient.
MTV reports, "'Idol' runner-up Adam Lambert is working on his 'dream' album as the follow-up to his 2009 début, with help from such songwriting pros as Ryan Tedder, Nikka Costa and Sia."

Adam Lambert recently attended a performance of Twist: An American Musical and posed for photographs with one lucky young fan after the performance. Joshua Bolden met the huge superstar at the event and excitedly posted news of the meeting on Twitter.
Young Joshua Bolden plays an orphan in the musical, which is an early 20th century retelling of the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. Bolden is no stranger to big celebrities. American Idol's Tamyra Gray is one of his onstage co-stars.
Adam Lambert was in the audience at the musical, which is playing at the Pasadena Playhouse through July 17, 2011. Another huge star at the performance was Amber Riley, the young actress who plays Mercedes on the popular television series Glee.

Adam Lambert is celebrated all over the world. If you need proof, look no further than the recent full-page advertisement placed by a radio station in New Zealand.
The new ad for Classic Hits features a particularly sexy photograph of the 29-year-old singer in an interesting pose against a bright purple background. His hand is resting on the side of his perfectly coiffed hair and he has a serious expression on his face. One look at the photo, and you can easily see why Adam Lambert is universally beloved.
The full-page color ad is printed on glossy paper and really shows off Adam Lambert's smoky eyes and full lips to perfection. It shows the singer wearing casual pants and a graphic t-shirt. His wrists are adorned with bracelets, and he wears several necklaces of varying lengths. He also has a spiked belt and matching wristband.
Charles Robbins from The Trevor Project & Joel Flatow from the RIAA present Adam with a plaque on March 10th 2011.It was to commemorate his singular devotion to inspiring and helping save young lives.
