On Tuesday night's episode of "The Voice," one contestant, Nakia, performed Adam Lambert's single, "Whataya Want From Me." When the time came for the coaches to weigh in, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine unintentionally riled up some serious Glamberts.
"I'm not familiar with that song, but you just forced me to like it," he told Nakia. "You probably sang it better than the person who sang it originally."
If you haven’t heard of Adam Lambert yet, brace yourself – he’s gonna take over the world!
A little bit of drama kicked off last night when Nakia performed a cover of Adam’s Grammy nominated track Whatya Want From Me on talent show The Voice.
Maroon 5 front-man Adam Levine was clearly impressed by the cover, but may have accidentally dissed the super-talented Mr Lambert in the process.
Nakia did a great job and here's his full spot on the show

I began to worry for Adam Levine's safety the minute he accidentally dissed Adam Lambert on "The Voice" last night. See, semi-finalist Nakia performed "Whataya Want From Me" and the Maroon 5 frontman replied with astonishment.
"I’m not familiar with that song, but you just forced me to like it," he said. Adding, "I’m pretty sure, although I’ve never heard that song before, that you probably sang it better than the person that sang it originally.”
Well, as a card carrying member, I knew The Glambert Nation wouldn't take that slam lying down -- and clearly their leader did as well since he almost immediately leapt to Twitter to calm any seeds of rebellion.
"Fans: there is NO reason to be angry," he wrote after complementing Nakia's rendition.
But the "Idol" grad also promised his upcoming album will end the "Voice" mentor's ignorance. "I think Adam might know who I am after this next album. Get ready for me Levine!"
Charles Robbins from The Trevor Project & Joel Flatow from the RIAA present Adam with a plaque on March 10th 2011.It was to commemorate his singular devotion to inspiring and helping save young lives.
