Adam Lambert didn't win AMERICAN IDOL, but is sure winning over plenty of fans, many of whom camped out for hours and hours ahead of his show at the Nokia Theater in Manhattan Tuesday night.
He is headlining his own tour, called the Glam Nation Tour. He has numerous costume changes during the show.
Adam's fans, called "Glamberts," dress like him, accessorize like him, and say they want to be him.
His next stops on the road include shows at Foxwoods and the Borgata in Atlantic City - Quote :
Adam Lambert made his entrance at the Nokia Theater on Tuesday night with a glam-goth flourish. Wearing an oversize top hat, fringed leather tatters and a streak of silvery glitter across one temple, he gestured above each of his zombie-styled dancers to freeze them in place as supplicants or victims. - Quote :
Anyone expecting a raunch 'n' roll concert from "American Idol" star Adam Lambert at the Nokia Theatre last night was sorely disappointed.
The gay guy-doll who shocked America with his boy-on-boy kiss and simulated oral sex at the American Music Awards last November played it safe with an entertaining, tame-by-comparison debut as a headliner in New York.

Scorching temperatures and puzzled looks from passersby could not keep Adam Lambert fans from lining up outside New York's Nokia Theatre a full 24 hours in advance of his Glam Nation Tour stop.
For Eileen Monahan, spending the night sleeping on a "disgusting" Times Square sidewalk in front of the venue was the only way to guarantee she had the best spot inside the general-admission concert. "I want to be up front," insisted Monahan, before admitting, "[For Adam], I'd sleep here again."

Adam Lambert conquered New York last night with his live performance at the Nokia Theatre. Adam delivered to a massive crowd of fans who braved scorching temperatures, waiting outside for up to 24 hours before Adam hit the stage.
Adam showed off his newly shaved head, covered temporarily with a black top hat, as he wowed the crowd on Tuesday night. The "American Idol" runner-up wore layers of black clothing, mixed with some sparkles and a bold purple coat while he played hit songs like "Fever," "Voodoo," "If I Had You" and "Sleepwalker."
