“He’s fabulous,” said Casey Davis, 14, her hair adorned with an Adam Lambertesque blue streak. She had on orange pants and painted her fingernails black for the show, too.

Her friend Sara Stamatiades, also 14, chimed in as they waited to go in before the show at Greensboro Coliseum on Sunday.

“We were running around, and getting our outfits ready,” Sara said, also with a blue streak in her hair.

“We got Adamized,” Casey said.

Allen? He's good, but Lambert steals the 'American Idol' show

The American Idols Live Tour 2009 brought the 10 finalists to town, including Anoop Desai, a crowd favorite from Chapel Hill, who had a large hometown contingent cheering for him from behind a banner that read, “We Love You Anoop, The UNC Clefhangers and Senior Varsity Fans.”
