Mariah Carey, Adam Lambert headline F1 Rocks concert - Quote :
If last year’s F1 Rocks concert managed to bring the “bootylicious” Beyonce to Singapore, then get set for another star-studded line-up come next month.
Headlining the concert will be diva Mariah Carey, hip-hop superstar Missy Elliot, rockers Daughtry and American Idol star Adam Lambert.
The line-up will be spread out across the three race nights of Sept 24 to 26. But the key difference from last year will be that all the acts will perform at the Padang main stage which is located within the Marina Bay circuit park, which is accessible to all ticket holders. More HERE
Under singer Adam Lambert's hood is a genuine car geek

You might not think it from looking at the cover of Adam Lambert's debut album For Your Entertainment, but under the glam-rock trappings lies a normal, albeit very talented, guy. The singer-songwriter, who is currently on his Asian leg of the Glam Nation tour, will be performing at the Formula 1 Grand Prix on Sept 25 at the Padang stage and Sept 26 at the Zone 1 Stage.
Which is quite fitting really, as Lambert is a bit of a car geek. When the runner-up to 2009's American Idol was awarded a car of his choice by the show's sponsor, Ford, Lambert tellingly chose a black Mustang Convertible. (Winner Kris Allen on the other hand, chose a hybrid sedan.) We asked Lambert what makes him vroom. - Quote :
25 September 2010, Singapore – Adam Lambert truly delivered what he had spoken about in the earlier part of this afternoon during the media conference in terms of what fans can expect from his concert tonight at 1130pm. Held after the Formula One Qualifying of the Formula One SingTel Singapore Grand Prix, Adam started a very stunning number dressed in Purple Jacket with long tassles over his black attire and a hat. The dancers and band very quickly engaged the more than 20,000 eager fans as they sang and danced along. | |
