Promoters say the demand from New Zealand "Glamberts" has been overwhelming since they announced the American Idol runner-up would tour Australia.

Although he didn't win the reality show in its eighth season, as many people believe he rightly should have, the outlandish gay performer has easily shot to fame, turning heads and becoming a poster boy for the neo-glam revival.
