Adam Lambert Sounds Off On Critics Calling
J. Crew Layout Transgender Promotion

Rocker Adam Lambert has defended a J. Crew layout that features a young boy with painted toenails.
The layout Saturday with Jenna, which is featured on the clothing giant's website, includes photos of Jenna Lyons, creative director for J. Crew, hanging out with her son Beckett. In one photo, Beckett is seen with his feet in his mother's lap, his toenails painted hot pink. Under the headline “Quality Time,” Lyons is quoted: “Lucky for me, I ended up with a boy whose favorite color is pink. Toenail painting is way more fun in neon.”
The layout riled Erin R. Brown of the socially conservative group Culture and Media Institute.
Adam Lambert appears in Nikka Costa’s latest vlog installment, joining the Aussie singer-songwriter for some eardrum-bursting vocal exercises.
Perhaps still best-known at home for her 2001 hit Everybody Got Their Something, Nikka has retained a much higher profile overseas and plans to release a new album called PRO★WHOA! before the end of the year.
As part of her promo campaign, she’s taken to YouTube for a series of vlogs called Nikka’s Box!
Glambert turns out to be the perfect foil for the diva’s powerful pipes as they trade vocal blows while working on a new song.
Why Did Adam Lambert Drop To 43rd On Out Magazines Power 50

Everyone has a right to their opinion including the staff at OUT Magazine. There is obviously no way of scientifically picking the most powerful individuals in the LGBT community. OUT has their own criterion obviously.Adam Lambert was ranked at #5 last year and It did not upset me to see Adam Lambert ranked at #43 except for the snark in OUT's remarks.
Adam Lambert always pushes that people should embrace who they are and want to be, which is why he felt it necessary to respond to a discussion about a J.Crew ad.
The ad had a boy with nails painted pink and Lambert decided to point out how not controversial this ad is over Twitter. “GenderConfusion? I don’t think it’s that deep— children should have full freedom of expression. It’s everyone else who’s confused,” Lambert posted about the pink nail polish not being a big deal.
He then went on to discuss society and stereotypes: “If society didn’t work so hard to reinforce gender role stereotypes we would have a much more well-adjusted& open-minded future generation.”
The hotness breakdown – how Pop Culture Junkie’s men stack up!
Adam Lambert versus Elvis Presley?
Quote :
Last week after watching Pop Culture Junkie’s latest podcast on our new book club picks, your fellow Junkie, @Eclipse, posed the question in the blog comments asking me who is my favorite in terms of "all around general hotness" – Robert Pattinson, Adam Lambert, or Elvis Presley. She obviously chose these three men because they are property of Pop Culture Junkie and we (Or is it just me?) swoon over them on the regular. Now, I felt this post would be fun because who doesn’t appreciate looking at sexy man meat whenever there’s an excuse? But mainly I wanted to do a blog post on this topic vs. simply answering her question in a blog comment because we’ve had an influx of new members lately (**SQUEE**) and we need to introduce these sexy new mamas to PCJ’s fave man candy… and of course, I’ll pick my fave after putting our men to the “all around general hotness” test!
