GLAMBERT LIVE Adam Lambert Glam Nation Live DVD Review Reviewed by Tanner Stransky

If there's any newish pop act worthy of a live release, it's American Idol runner-up Lambert, whose vocal acrobatics make this a terrific complement to his 2009 solo debut. Because he incubated before us in a perform-or-die setting, Lambert's ability to work a crowd is audible. Everything from his hit ''Whataya Want From Me'' to his take on ''Ring of Fire'' sizzles more than the too-too-perfect studio versions. Bonus: Glam Nation Live includes an expertly produced DVD of the concert. A–

The more we hear about Adam Lambert's upcoming sophomore release, the more enigmatic the album becomes in many ways. Why is that? Because this time, the former "American Idol" star is being more than a little bit careful about the information he chooses to share about the album.
In a new interview, for example, Adam explains that this time he has decided that staying silent on the album is probably a far better solution than speaking out about things that may or may not happen:
"It's going to be great. It's moody so far, but who knows.
"I should probably stop now because last time we did this, I said all this stuff about the album and then it was, like, 'Oh that didn’t make the album.' So I don't wanna jinx it,"
