The Reincarnation of Elvis?

Week after week Adam is unmistakably Adam, a musical chameleon that seamlessly maneuvers in and out of pop, rock, R&B, soul, electronic, and adult contemporary genres.

American Idol is in its eight season and most fans believe Adam Lambert is the best Idol ever and is on his way to fame and fortune. Adam has consistently delivered commanding, high-energy, electrifying performances and is, without a doubt, the most exciting and flamboyant contestant to date. He even receiving an unheard of standing ovation from Simon Cowell when he sang his own magical version of "Mad World".

Adam has garnered much praise and has been compared to some of the greatest singer/performers of all time. It's easy to see the influences of Freddy Mercury, Robert Plant, Donny Hathaway or Steve Perry. But it's his uncanny resemblance to the King of Rock and Roll that has his fans asking, “is Adam the reincarnation of Elvis Presley?”

From an astrological perspective, it is true that Adam shares the same Venus, Mars, and Jupiter placements as Elvis...and it's also possible he shares the same Moon. Elvis had a Pisces Moon and Adam's Moon is either in Pisces (born in the early morning) or Aries. I'm going to go out on an limb (which can be dangerous) and say that Adam was born in the early morning and does have a Pisces Moon.

More than any other sign Pisces is about glamor, and the world of wonder, fascination and make believe. In his book 'The Inner Sky' author and astrologer Steven Forrest refers to the Pisces archetype of the “Face Dancer”. Adam seems to exemplify the Pisces Face Dancer archetype in his androgyny, his chameleon like costuming and his effortless ability to move from one musical genre to another.

But even without the Moon, these are powerful connections and it could be that Adam Lambert is Elvis incarnate or at the very least, so in sync with the King that he almost channels the spirit of Elvis into the music of the 21st century.

Both Elvis and Adam were born in January, but Elvis, born January 8, 1935 was a serious Capricorn, while Adam, born Jan. 29, 1982 is an eclectic Aquarius.

Adam exudes his electrifying Aquarius Sun, both in his rebellious alternative style, in his genius and in the unique and unconventional brilliance that shines through in each and every performance.

Echoing Elvis, Adam has Venus in Capricorn, Mars in Libra and Jupiter in Scorpio.

I don't believe there can be any doubt that Adam is very serious, disciplined, ambitious, persevering and hard working when it comes to his art from (Venus in Capricorn). You only need read his biography to date to get the feeling that this is a young man who, like Elvis, is determined to succeed.

Also like Elvis, Adam, with Mars in Libra, was bestowed with a masculine beauty and an artsy flair. When watching him on Idol, Libra comes across loud and clear. He may seem cocky when performing but there is little arrogance in his demeanor with the other contestants or the judges. He's a nice guy, polite, social and charming, who has the ability to directly relate to both his music and to the audience.

Adams is bound for success and will never be considered a light weight, with his Mars conjoined to both Saturn and Pluto he has the innate ability to know when to push ahead, when to pull back and the determination to never give up. His natural passion and charisma can't be denied, but he also has the ability to balance his natural charm with the power and authority fame is likely to bring.

Plus, like Elvis who also had Jupiter in Scorpio, Adam is not only blessed with magnetism but also with a well developed sense of resourcefulness and opportunism and the innate ability to shrewdly judge people and situations.
