| LSD helped my pop dream CARA LEE - Quote :
AMERICAN Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has claimed that using LSD helped him to become a pop star.
The controversial singer said taking the hallucinogenic drug spurred him on to apply for the US talent show.
Adam, 28, said: "My trip led me to some epiphanies about who I was as a performer, what I wanted to do and how I needed to create my own opportunities.
"When I got home, I started writing music with other people and went to the Idol audition.
"The vision was about finding opportunities. I wasn't sitting in the desert in rave-wear thinking about Simon Cowell when I was on acid." - Quote :

ADAM LAMBERT has had no contact with SIMON COWELL since narrowly missing out on winning American Idol last year.
The US pop singer says the British music mogul has given him a wide berth since losing out to KRIS ALLEN in season eight of Cowell's hugely-popular talent show.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he says: "I've not heard from Simon at all.
"It was amazing to work with him but he doesn't have the same sort of contact with contestants that he does with X Factor in the UK.
"He's a very busy man."
Not that he needs any help. | |
